General Terms and Conditions

These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) govern the use of the Autonio vehicle marketplace platform, operated by Jubai Gehrig, sole proprietorship (imprint). By using the platform – in particular by registering, creating a listing or taking out a subscription – you accept the current version. They do not apply to vehicle purchase contracts: the only parties to those are buyer and seller.

• Free: searching, filtering, viewing, sharing and comparing listings; creating and saving drafts.
• Paid: publishing listings requires an active seller subscription (pricing).

Autonio is an intermediary, not a seller: we do not become party to vehicle purchases, do not pre-check listings for accuracy and do not owe any sales success. Platform availability may be limited during maintenance.

Private sellers publish under their own name; business sellers publish through an organization, shown as the seller. You are responsible for correct details, keeping your credentials confidential and all actions under your account. Minimum age: 18.

Drafts stay saved until you publish or archive them. Only listings that comply with the listing rules are published, after review. You warrant that details and photos are accurate and that you hold the necessary rights. By uploading you grant us the usage rights needed to display content on the platform.

Payment runs through Datatrans; its terms apply additionally to the payment process. Publishing rights arise only with a server-confirmed active subscription – a success page alone is not enough. Subscriptions renew per the product description; cancellation takes effect at the end of the period in your account. If a payment fails or you abort it, the draft is kept and you can continue later.

• Provide true details, infringe no third-party rights, do not systematically scrape content, do not circumvent technical measures.
• Contact other users only about the advertised vehicle – no spam, no advertising.
• Report abuse via the report function.

Reports enter a moderation queue and do not trigger automatic removal. For violations we may hide, remove or block listings and accounts and suspend publishing rights pending clarification. Measures stay proportionate; manifestly unlawful content is removed without delay.

We give no warranty for the accuracy, completeness or availability of individual listings. Our liability is limited – as far as legally permitted – to intent and gross negligence; mandatory claims remain reserved.

We may amend these GTC with reasonable notice; material changes to running subscriptions are notified by email. Swiss law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules. The place of jurisdiction is – where permitted – Meierskappel. Should a clause be invalid, the rest remains effective (severability).
